About the Owner
Jon began his insurance career with Aetna Life & Casualty in 1982. As a claim representative, Jon was head of the fraud department, reviewing submissions for evidence of fraud and holding instructional meetings for claim processing departments to identify fraudulent claims. Jon then worked for Prudential as an agent for 12 months, passing all licensing requirements to market various insurance products.
After Prudential, Jon went to work for Equifax, formerly Retail Credit. He rose to the Claim Director position where he was responsible for training and oversight of all claim investigations. Jon spent four years at Equifax before being recruited to investigate for International Claims Specialists, now Coventbridge. Jon spent thirteen years investigating Life and Health and Property and Casualty claims at ICS and while there, earned his ALHC designation.
Jon came to Northern Reporting Service in 2005, responsible for all phases of operation of the company. In 2015 Jon purchased the company and is now the sole proprietor of the business. Jon is an accredited trainer for continuing education by the State of Minnesota. Jon is active in Wisconsin and Minnesota SIU chapters. NRS is pleased to be one of the supporters for local claim associations such as the Twin Cities Claim Association.
